How to Join Our Lightning Team

As a Player:

The Lightning Football Club is looking for any child, boy or girl, between the ages 7-12 (as of Dec. 31 that year) that live outside the perimeter, South of Wilkes and West of Highway 200.

For more information about our program or to join our email list, please email us at lightningftball@gmail.com.

As a Team Manager or Trainer:

Every team needs a Manager to help the coaches. This is a very important role, as they help organize the team and are the direct link between families and coaches.

Without Trainers, there is no team...every team requires a trainer on their bench or are unable to play. The trainer administers any first aid necessary and will be sent to a training course. The course is football specific and put on by MATA. http://www.mata.mb.ca

If you think either of these jobs would be right for you, we want to hear from you!

As a Coach:

We are always looking for coaches! If you are knowledgable and experienced in football and want to share that with our young players, please contact us at lightningftball@gmail.com. Below are the coaching requirements as required by Football Manitoba.
